Dog Game

転がる犬のゲーム ！(Dog Game) is a 2037 (or whenever) cozy adventure game developed and published by Juli for desktop systems. It follows a shiba inu working for a jazz kissa. The player explores an open world, helping the geriatric but young-spirited owner of the kissa to seek out rare vinyls and keep the hifi system running in tip-top shape. Players take part in a vibrant neighborhood of a Japanese metropolis, befriending the locals and experiencing daily life as a part-time salarydog through a rich soundtrack and unique, retro-inspired graphics.

ok yeah this game is VERY much still in development. more like the planning phase. it's essentially my pipe dream and i am learning game dev mostly for this. basically this idea came to me literally out of nowhere in like 2020 or something (as all good ideas do am i right), and it's slowly been changing and developing into what it is today. i'm slowly but surely learning game design (the main bottleneck right now is myself not wanting to start small) and planning and figuring out how i'll get this to work because, obviously, this is not a small quick game to make. but somehow, call me delusional or whatever, i know this game will one day be a thing, one way or another. i need dog game. you need dog game. dog game.
i can see it in my head and if i could draw i'd make some really cool fanart and concept sketches of what it could look like but TRUST ME: it looks great in my mind.
